Your Trustee Board
As your Trustee Board, we’re responsible for making sure the schemes are run properly and your benefits are secure. We're committed to acting in the best interests of members. The Trustee Directors have been selected for their wide experience, skills and knowledge of the pensions industry. Some have been nominated by scheme members, some have been appointed by Lloyds Banking Group, and others are independent professional trustees.

We're here to act in the best interests of scheme members, and make sure you're treated fairly, in accordance with the scheme’s rules. We are independent of Lloyds Banking Group.

We act in accordance with the scheme rules, and the law.
We work collaboratively
We work closely and constructively with the Group to help make sure members get the pension they're entitled to from the money built up in their pension scheme(s).
Meet the Trustee Board
Harry Baines
Harry is an Employer Appointed Trustee Director. He is Chair of the LBGPTL Board of Directors and a member of the Governance, Audit and Risk Committee. He worked for the Group for 13 years before retiring from his role as Group General Counsel and Company Secretary. Harry is the Vice Chairman of the Manchester Building Society and the former Chair of the Trustee Board of the PACE Pension Scheme.
Jocelyn Blackwell
Jocelyn is an Independent Trustee Director of LBGPTL and was an Independent Trustee Director for both Scottish Widows Pension Trustees Limited and Lloyds Your Tomorrow Trustee Limited. She is Chair of the Operations Committee and a member of the Defined Contribution Committee. Jocelyn has many years of experience in pension scheme administration.
Richard Conway
Richard is a Member Nominated Trustee Director. He is a member of the Investment and Funding Committee and the Governance, Audit and Risk Committee. He is also a former Head of Governance and Performance Assessment for Fund Investments in Scottish Widows.
Michelle Cracknell
Michelle is an Employer Appointed Trustee Director. She is Chair of the Defined Contribution Committee, a member of the Operations Committee, the Investment and Funding Committee and previously chaired the Board of Lloyds Your Tomorrow Trustee Limited. She is an actuary with 30 years of experience in pensions, holding Director positions at advice firms and providers. Michelle was previously Chief Executive of The Pensions Advisory Service where she increased the profile and use of the service. She is a regular commentator on pension matters in the media and at consumer events.
Victoria Turner
Victoria is an Employer-Appointed Trustee Director, and is a member of the Governance, Audit and Risk Committee. As a qualified accountant, she has over 15 years of experience in a range of roles within Lloyds Banking Group and is now the Finance Director for Financial Planning and Analysis, Commercial Banking, Finance. Alongside her role, Victoria is a member of the Economics Advisory Board for the University of Leeds. She also founded and continues to sponsor the CB Finance female network, promoting diversity and inclusion.
Shirley Marsh
Shirley is a pensioner member and continues as a Member Nominated Trustee Director from April 2022 after being reselected. She is a member of the Operations Committee and the Defined Contribution Committee. Shirley retired from the Group in 2011 after 36 years of service, where she held several senior roles including Head of Group Pensions. Shirley is also a Trustee for The Local Government Pension Scheme and a member of the Pensions and Lifetime Savings Association (PLSA)’s Defined Contribution Committee.
Sunil Raja
Sunil is a Member Nominated Trustee Director who joined the Board in April 2022. Sunil is a member of the Defined Contribution Committee. He is currently Credit Director, Financial Institutions, Commercial Banking and has had a varied career in Retail, Commercial and Investment Banking.

represented by Mark Ashworth
Mark is an Independent Trustee Director. He is Chair of the Governance, Audit and Risk Committee and a member of the Operations Committee. He also chairs the Law Debenture’s pension trustee practice and is a past president of the Society of Pension Professionals. Mark has been an Independent Trustee for over 15 years. He sits on a number of other trustee boards including BP, Royal Mail and Sainsbury’s. Mark was also previously an Independent Trustee Director of Lloyds Your Tomorrow Trustee Limited.

represented by Vicky Paramour
Vicky is an Independent Trustee Director. She is a member of the Investment and Funding Committee and previously chaired the Board of Scottish Widows Pension Trustees Limited. She is a pensions actuary with more than 20 years of experience in pensions and sits on a number of other trustee boards, four of which she chairs. Vicky’s appointments include Marks & Spencer, Coca-Cola and Next. She is also a Trustee Board member of the Lloyds Bank Offshore Pension Scheme.
